Something for all ages and times

Whether you've remembered or forgotten your packed lunch, there's room for it all at the Open Air Museum. The Country Kiosk, the Bakehouse, and the Open Air Museum's Restaurant can assist with most things and then some. You can also enjoy your own food at one of our cozy dining areas.

Welcome to Café Haystack

Café Haystack

Visit our newly opened café

Now you can settle down at the newly opened Café Høstak by the main entrance and enjoy a sandwich or a charcuterie board with delicious cheeses and cured meats or a vegetarian option, accompanied by a glass of wine or a refreshing soft drink. Children can choose a lunch box, perfect for enjoying in the café or taking with them as they explore the grounds. On the terrace, surrounded by flowers and beneath the shade of the magnificent old linden tree, you can relax with coffee and cake while taking in the wonderfull view. There is seating both inside and outside on the terrace, and in the garden there will be an obstacle course where the little ones can play. The café is only for guests of the museum for now.
